London-based pop punk band Dream Wife took to Instagram to claim that Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa’s new Prisoner music video is a scam of their music video for So When You Gonna…

British pop punk group Dream Wife has accused Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa of tearing up their new music video

The pop starlets joined forces for new single Prisoner with the chaotic music video seeing the couple share the screen for the first time as they embark on a wild bus trip

But Dream Wife took to Instagram to claim the video was a scam of their own music video for the track So When You Gonna… which was released in May

Miley and Dua dress up as punk stars and attend a concert – alongside the Dream Wife video

The group shared several side-by-side images of the two videos on their Instagram account and accused them of stealing their work

One image shows Miley and Dua playing, while another photo shows Dream Wife on stage in a similar pose in their own video

They captioned their post: “I thought Miley’s new video sounded familiar those pearly white teeth from LA need a little bit of spunk rofl”

The group also posted a side-by-side image on Instagram Stories of Miley holding a guitar next to band leader Alice doing the same, with the two seen through open mouths

In June 2019, the Wrecking Ball star was criticized on Instagram after copying a feminist baker’s cake design without crediting her

The singer posted a photo of herself licking a cake decorated with the words “Abortion is health” to promote her collaboration with fashion designer Marc Jacobs and Planned Parenthood

Myley apologized to Becca after sharing a picture of an almost identical cake she made

In a comment on Instagram, she said: “We saw the image online and didn’t realize it was yours. We will absolutely mark you for your work”

Reps for Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus have been contacted by Daily Mirror Online to comment on Dream Wife’s claims
